David Reinard has been a trial lawyer since 1991. While he started his career defending physicians in malpractice lawsuits, he identified so much with the victims and their families that he left his job with a top firm so that he could help improve peoples' lives, not increase insurance companies' bottom lines.
Since that time, Mr. Reinard has been 100% committed to helping seriously injured people obtain justice. Because of his efforts, he is widely recognized as a skilled, aggressive, effective advocate for the rights of injured people. Mr. Reinard's accomplishments are recognized by every organization that matters. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, which invites only the most experienced, ethical trial lawyers to join its ranks. He has received an "AV Preeminent" Rating (the very highest) from Martindale-Hubbell, the most respected source of authoritative and dependable information about members of the legal community in the world. He has been named a Southern California Super Lawyer, a designation – based on reviews by attorneys – given to a very small percentage of lawyers. He has a "10 - Superb" rating from Avvo, a leading lawyer rating website that rates and profiles lawyers in every state to help consumers evaluate and select an excellent lawyer for their needs. He is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Attorney Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), the Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC), and the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Reinard is regularly requested to provide his expertise to other attorneys by speaking at legal education seminars, including at CAALA's annual convention (the largest of its kind, with 2000 attendees), at ABOTA's "Jack Daniel's Trial School," and for Attorney Boot Camp, a leading provider of training for lawyers. He is also consulted on a daily basis by experienced attorneys for advice on difficult issues in their cases. Mr. Reinard has successfully tried lawsuits against Allstate, Farmers Insurance, AAA, State Farm, Mercury, and others. In his career, he personally handled more than 30 cases which resulted in settlements or verdicts in excess of $1 million for his clients. Mr. Reinard received his Bachelor's degree from Loyola Marymount University, and his law degree from Southwestern University School of Law's "SCALE" program, the only accredited two-year law program in the United States. While in law school, Mr. Reinard was a member of Law Review, and he received a Dean's Scholarship. |
